Exploring Korea with @ChangiRecommends

And here it is, the long and awaited blog post that everyone has been asking us about! Sorry for the hiatus, I have taken a break in writing for quite some time because I have been really busy lately. Today, I'll be sharing with you guys three popular attractions that both Jo and I went during our trip to Seoul together with #changirecommends. Read on more to find out how to get around, with the conveniently! I hope this post will inspire you to pack your bags and take a trip there for yourself!

PETITE FRANCE

Lo & behold, our first stop was Petite France (쁘띠프랑스), 'Little France' if you may. This storybook town is a great opportunity for fans who grew up loving Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince), for them to reminisce. This french-inspired village houses a museum, workshops, restaurants cafes and a guesthouse. It is a filming hotspot that has been featured in 'My Love from the Star', 'Secret Garden' and even the legendary variety show 'Running Man'.

There are so many Instagram spots for you to take beautiful photos at, and you probably can't finish shooting them all in a day! Both Jo and I love to visit places with a ton of Instagram worthy spots, especially the ones that have a lot of vibrant colours, because it brings life to our Instagram feed. So Instagram enthusiasts, get your cameras ready!

NAMI ISLAND

Next up, we headed off to Nami Island (남이섬). If you're into Korean dramas, you must visit this place! This place is famed for it's feature on the drama, Winter Sonata.

Located in Gapyeong (가평), 1-2 hours from Seoul, the seasonal florals of Nami Island (남이섬) and Garden of Morning Calm (아침고요수목원) make the perfect backdrop for any photo, while the colourful European-style buildings of Petite France (쁘띠프랑스) seemingly transports one to another place. No wonder K-dramas have used these spots as filming locations. This place is perfect for those who wants to get more in touch with nature. This place also has a fair selection of restaurants and side stalls on the island. We had our lunch at the ferry terminal, Kko Kko Dakgalbi Chuncheon!

GARDEN OF MORNING CALM

Next up, we have Garden of Morning Calm. Another famous Korean drama that was filmed in this location!

Another fond place for nature lovers. This place is an amazing botanical garden, one of the best and most beautiful gardens in Korea. This seven-acre garden offers a seasonal display of bloom and festival every season so it was always worth visiting. We went during the winter season, lighting festival, hence we got to experience annual display of dazzling lights at night.

And that's about our one-day trip out of Seoul. If you're wondering how we got to these places in a day, not to worry! ChangiRecommends has got you covered, because you can hop onto the convenient bus charter where it'll take you to explore the outskirts of Seoul; Nami Island, Petite France, and Garden of Morning Calm.
